I graduated with a First Class Honours Degree in Music in 2004 and received the Alexander Stone Award for Outstanding Achievement. I work as a freelance flautist and teacher and enjoy a busy and varied career. I teach pupils of all ages and abilities, both privately and in schools, and have pupils who play in some of the country's top youth orchestras and bands. I also direct a number of ensembles. I hold the position of Principal Flute with the Glasgow Sinfonia and am also in demand as a session musician, soloist and wedding flautist. I love all styles of music including classical and Scottish and Irish Traditional and also guest with the Marco Cafolla Jazzz Trio. In addition to this I also have successful flute and harp and flute and guitar duos and direct and play in the wind quintet, Quintessential.
