I have taught for many years in the Bay Area. For five years I taught band in the Mountain View School District as well as private flute lessons in my private studio. I have an undergraduate degree (Biola University) as well as a Master's Degree in Flute Performance (San Jose State University). I have taught at music camps and in masterclasses. Currently, I teach beginners as well as advanced students, including adults. I strive to inspire joy in playing music. I do this by teaching technique and principles of producing a beautiful sound in solo literature as well as duets and chamber music. I also encourage my students to attend live concerts where they can hear and be inspired by professional musicians. |
