Iulia Tanu

Additional Info:	Iulia Tanu was born in Romania on 1st of July 1993. At the age of 9 she was accepted at the College of Music 'Victor Brauner' where she started playing flute and piano with various teachers throughout the years. Iulia is currently doing Music A2 in North London performing regularly in London and the UK. Iulia was awarded for National youth competition. She performed various concerts including experimental contemporary music,poetry and dance. She is now playing flute along side many artists. As she expresses 'Teaching flute it is fantastic. I get to give my own knowledge for those who were just like me. I want students who play flute to feel the music!' She is also an indie/fork singer-songwriter and musician. She started playing guitar at the age of 15 and being inspired my many artists she started writing her own songs. Many of the songs are inspired by real-life personalities or events from her everyday life having powerful meanings. She has done a live acoustic music video directed my her brother George Tanu where she played one of her singles ‘Moon Song’, being one of her first songs written. She is currently studying and having a great love for classic music since she was a child.
