Additional Info:	A passion for music-making has taken Lindsey from Africa to Scandinavia to North West England. Lindsey concentrated on classical flute performance in her training, gaining a BMus(Hons) at the South African College of Music in 2009 and an MMus from the Royal Northern College of Music (Manchester) in 2011. A versatile musician, Lindsey is the Director of Music at St James and Emmanuel Church, where she is most often found playing the piano and singing. She is also a founding member and flautist for Lazaros Ceilidh Band Lindsey has garnered many awards, including being selected as a soloist in the 2012 Johannesburg Youth Concerto Festival, winning the University of Cape Town Concerto Competition twice, and receiving a runner-up award in the RNCM Ken Griffin Flute Prize in 2011. She is an accomplished orchestral music, and has played with the Hallé, Cape Philharmonic Orchestra, Free State Symphony Orchestra and the Manchester Consort. Lindsey completed two years of teaching method in her undergraduate degree, and spent a semester studying Dalcroze Euryhthmics (teaching method) in Stockholm. She has accumulated experience teaching flute privately, and spent a year teaching beginner - advanced flute and piccolo at a high school in South Africa. Other teaching experience includes teaching beginner - intermediate piano, theory of music and basic accompaniment work. Besides being a complete flute geek, Lindsey also loves travelling, chocolate and good books.
Fees:	£ 30.00 Pounds Per Hour Alternatively, £20 per half-an-hour (this is recommended for beginners), or £25 per 45 minutes. I teach primarily at students' homes in Stanmore, Edgeware, Harrow and surrounding areas.
