Additional Info:	I have taught flute lessons, privately for 18 years. I prepare students by making them familiar with scales and using them in impromtu compositions. They prepare challening solo pieces for recitals and they become confortable in various styles of music. Their repertoire includes music from the Baroque, classical, romantic etc. AND they work on Celtic, rock and jazz pieces. They are encouraged to attend concerts and other musical events. Once they become seniors in highschool, they have a nice collection of repertoire that is featured in a senior recital. Therefore they have the opportunity to present their own personal concert to parents, friends, teachers and even college recruiters. I also give my students the opportunity to ensemble work where the get to meet each other and develop a camraderie. Each student is expected to be mentors to each other. I often have them perform ensemble work that has parts for various levels so that the advanced students can play the same piece with student that have less experience. I went to Youngstown State University, Irvine Valley College and received my Bachelors of Music Performance through my life experiences and music achivements through Redding University.
Fees:	$ 30.00 Dollars Per Hour My studio is at the Quest Learning Center in Artesia, California.
