Additional Info:	In Northern Ireland and Scotland where the B Flat Flute is most popular it is more efficient to teach students to read a simp[le form of music known as 'abc notation' and this is supported by audio or video aids. Learning to play an instrument this way is quicker, more enjoyable and less formal than having to learn to read and understand music first. A typical student can learn how to play an entire 30 tune repertoire in a month, using this more modern and user friendly method. This is all covered in the B Flat Fluter's Companion books available from Amazon and all good book stores.
